Is the Motion Lab plugin free?

Yes. NoCapMocap Motion Lab is free to install from the Roblox Creator Store. You only spend NoCapMocap credits when you generate a new animation — importing motions you already made costs nothing.

Do I need a NoCapMocap account?

Yes, to load your History and Library and to generate inside Studio. Open the plugin Settings tab, click Connect account, and approve the short code in your browser. Without a connected account the History and Library tabs stay empty.

What rigs does it support?

Any R15 rig. Every motion is auto-retargeted to R15, so you can apply it to a standard R15 character or an Avatar Setup rig and preview it right in Studio.

Can I generate animations inside Studio, or only import them?

Both. You can create from a text prompt or a video reference directly in the plugin, or send over a motion you made on the web and one-click-import it onto a rig.

The plugin says HTTP is disabled — what do I do?

Roblox Studio blocks HTTP requests by default. Enable them under File → Experience Settings → Security → Allow HTTP Requests, then reconnect your account from the plugin Settings tab.

Do I have to use the plugin?

No. The plugin is the smoothest path, but you can also copy any motion from the NoCapMocap web app and paste it into Roblox Studio’s Animation Editor. Humanoid FBX export for Unity, Unreal, and Blender is available either way.

Can I use the animations in my commercial Roblox game?

Yes. We don’t claim ownership of generated motions — use them in personal and commercial Roblox experiences. See the Terms of Service for the full details.

Install Motion Lab
Get NoCapMocap Motion Lab from the Roblox Creator Store, then open or restart Roblox Studio so the plugin loads.

Enable HTTP requests
In Studio, go to File → Experience Settings → Security and turn on Allow HTTP Requests so the plugin can reach your account.

Connect your account
Open the NoCapMocap toolbar, click Motion Lab, then Connect account. Approve the short code in your browser to link your NoCapMocap account.

Generate or import a motion
Create a new animation from text or video in the plugin, or pull a finished motion from your History or Library tab.

Apply it to your rig
Select an R15 rig in your Workspace, click Apply to selected rig, preview the motion in Studio, and ship it.
